Archie_NN is an artificial neural network developed as an experiment to create an alternative voice in the architectural theory and criticism fields. Using a neural net to create a voice in these fields not only questions the validity and credentials of the modern critic but also has the ability to address the speed of production of social based media with the vocabulary and linguistics of a professionally trained critic. Archie is a combination various neural networks trained on custom datasets of architectural photography and criticism texts.

Archie_NN was created by Kellan Cartledge as his graduate thesis project at the Southern California Institute of Architecture. See more @archieneuralnet.
